3 John 5-8. Psalm 112:1-2, 3-4, 5-6. Luke 18:1-8.
Persevering faith
Persistence in prayer stems from unwavering faith—faith that remains hopeful even through trials. The widow’s relentless appeal moved the heart of the indifferent judge, who neither feared God nor respected others. God’s help comes not only from His mercy but also from the justice inherent in our covenant relationship with Him.
