Wednesday of the Second Week of Lent
Jeremiah 18:18-20. Matthew 20:17-18
We go to Jerusalem
Both the readings have something in common: (a) Jesus and Jeremiah came to Jerusalem; (b) The people who followed Jesus misunderstood him often; and (c) They were clear about their goal and path.
What do we learn from the readings?
(a) Continuous growth despite oppositions.
(b) What is important for us is the master’s plan, not our own master plan.
(c) Authority comes through service.
